Responsibilities

  • Assist with development of troubleshooting guides, technical manuals, and training documentation
  • Ensure automation systems meet engineering standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support ongoing improvements to automation processes and system reliability

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of automation or PLC programming experience
  • Proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal
  • Experience programming Siemens 1200/1500 PLCs and Unified HMIs
  • Proficiency with Autodesk 2D CAD
  • Experience with industrial I/O systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with UL508A requirements
  • Familiarity with industrial networking and network security concepts
  • Experience with Modbus TCP/IP and RS232 communications preferred
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments and teams

Responsibilities

  • Sand and paint parts when necessary
  • Maintain production logs and related documentation
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Leadership teams to improve production processes
  • Support implementation of production quality control procedures
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Assist with training new employees on production procedures and safety standards
  • Report production or equipment issues to management

Qualifications

  • Technical school certification or associate degree preferred

Position Overview

ESI Total Fuel Management is seeking an experienced Service Technician to support fuel system maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance operations for mission critical facilities and data centers.

This role includes both shop and field work, including fuel system repairs, inspections, fuel deliveries, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on diesel fuel filtration equipment
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues related to fuel systems and fuel deliveries
  • Perform preventative maintenance and fuel system repairs in the field
  • Execute diesel fuel sampling in aboveground and underground tanks while following safety protocols
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanical systems
  • Complete quality control checks and service documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work environment
  • Communicate professionally with customers during on-site service visits
  • Follow all company and customer safety procedures

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a field technician or similar role
  • Clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical school certification or associate degree preferred
  • Ability to regularly lift 30-50 pounds
  • Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and multimeters
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and mechanical drawings
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, including heights or confined spaces when necessary
  • Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
