Chris Willig
MANAGER, FUEL & FUEL SYSTEM PRODUCTS, WESTERN U.S.
Chris Willig serves as Manager, Fuel & Fuel System Products for the Western United States at ESI Total Fuel Management, providing regional leadership focused on strengthening fuel strategy execution, supplier coordination, and customer alignment across a complex and highly dynamic market. In this role, Chris supports ESI’s ability to deliver reliable access to diesel and renewable diesel (HVO) while integrating fuel programs with the operational requirements of mission-critical facilities.
Chris brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the fuel and lubricants industry, with a proven track record in business development, strategic account management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management . He is recognized for building and mentoring high-performing teams, developing growth strategies that increase share-of-wallet, and driving disciplined pipeline and performance management within petroleum distribution environments .
In senior leadership roles, Chris has overseen large regional portfolios and led customer-retention and revenue-growth initiatives. His experience includes coaching and guiding sales and account teams, developing high-level customer relationships, and managing significant volume and margin responsibility—supporting consistent execution and long-term account stability . This foundation directly strengthens ESI’s ability to deliver regionally informed fuel and fuel system product strategies that support uptime, resiliency, and predictable operations for customers across the Western U.S.
At ESI, Chris is responsible for aligning fuel and fuel system product offerings with regional customer requirements, strengthening supplier partnerships, and supporting performance tracking and reporting to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement. His leadership reinforces ESI’s commitment to operational reliability, disciplined program management, and long-term customer confidence in every engagement.
Chris studied Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach and Cerritos Community College
