Charlotte M. Marcus is Co-Chief Executive Officer of ESI Total Fuel Management, bringing more than two decades of experience in fuel operations, critical power infrastructure support, and business systems management. Her leadership focuses on ensuring that ESI’s operational, financial, and administrative foundations are engineered to support reliable, compliant, and transparent delivery of fuel management solutions for mission-critical facilities .

A veteran of the oil and energy industry, Charlotte specializes in critical power fuel system management with an emphasis on fail-safe generator reliability, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Her expertise spans global fuel supply chains, diesel fuel logistics, emergency response planning, and value-added fuel operations services designed to provide customers with full visibility and confidence across every stage of execution .

At ESI, Charlotte serves as Business Director, accountable for financial operations, administrative systems, and data integrity. She leads core business functions including financial modeling, contract estimating, contract fulfillment, fuel and service scheduling, accounting, purchasing, and reporting. Her work ensures that ESI’s internal systems operate with precision and resilience—directly enabling consistent project execution, accurate forecasting, and dependable customer support .

Prior to co-founding ESI, Charlotte developed deep technical and commercial expertise at Mobil Corporation’s U.S. headquarters, where she worked in supply, distribution and trading, marketing operations, inventory management, logistics, transportation economics, contract negotiation, and financial analysis. She also held roles in service station and bulk terminal design and served as an environmental compliance officer within Mobil’s Marketing Engineering Division. During the Exxon-Mobil merger, Charlotte supported integration efforts within the Controllers group, further strengthening her experience in complex operational and financial environments .

Charlotte’s leadership ensures that ESI’s operational backbone—often unseen but essential—remains robust, scalable, and aligned with the high expectations of data center and mission-critical customers. Her disciplined, systems-driven approach underpins ESI’s ability to deliver reliable fuel management solutions with accuracy, transparency, and long-term durability.
